South Korean Coking Coal Imports in January
South Korea’s coking coal imports fell 0.4 Mt year-on-year to 1.7 Mt in January, IHS reports. This fall was driven by decreased shipments from Australia which contracted 0.5 Mt to 0.5 Mt. Meanwhile imports from Canada rose by 0.1 Mt to 0.6 Mt, whilst Russian shipments were stable on-the-year.
